The pax þan first ordanit he
At all messis gevin to be
Euerilk day, bot quhen þe mess
Sanging for Cristin saulis wes.
He ordanit als, quhen men suld de,
Anoyntit with haly oile to be.
He ordanit to fast þe Setterday,
For in his graif þat tyme Crist lay.
