I never votid for Fremont. In '56 I did n't

aboosed him agin, and more than ever wen he
ishood his Emansipashen Proclamashen.
But now I diskiver that I hev did him a grevous

Bookannon can condemn, and his Abolishnism—why,
he 's to be pitied for that.
