I wrote to you yesterday, & from a lapse of memory,
very common to me of late, I directed my letter to the University,
instead of your new residence. I write now, however
principally to ask you for the address of your uncle Farley.
Maria sent me a letter from him to her in which he expresses
a great desire that I would write to him, & I set about doing
so, but his letter was dated at "Creole" simply, & I find
by the gazeteers that there are several places so called in
different states, & tho' I was under the impression that he
lived in Missouri yet to be ceratin I thought I would first
ascertain the fact from you. Love to all. I am unalterably yours
