Dear Mr. Joyce
I enclose the press notices spoken of by Mr. Huebsch in the letter that
I sent to you. I kept them a few days to have them copied. The Springfield
Union review, though shorter than some, seems to me to be
the
best on the whole that has appeared so far.
The sales have improved a little but not very much and I am afraid
that the words on the back page of the April Egoist saying
that
the first
edition is nearly exhausted are an exaggeration. Miss Marsden suggested the
back page advertisement and wrote the short introduction.
[1] I am sending copies to a number
of lapsed
subscribers. I am glad to hear that you are better. | With kind regards |
Yours sincerely
