TIP OF THE FASHION.

Miss Mollie Bacon, of Madison Avenue, observed,
as she spread her paniers over four seats in the
stage:

“I'm too delighted, dear Eli, to have something, at
last, in the tip of the fashion.”

“How so, Mollie?” I asked.

“Why, `Jennie June' says, `High-heeled shoes are
very much worn this winter,' and I've got a pair with
six holes in 'em!”
