APPOINTMENTS

The following appointments were announced:

• Mr. George E. Boyd as a member of the Center for Advanced Studies in the Sciences, for three years, effective 1 February 1966.
• Dr. James Q. Miller as Acting Assistant Dean of the School of Medicine, for the period 1 November 1965 through 31 August 1966.
• Mr. Wesley A. Volk as Acting Chairman of the Department of Microbiology, for the period 20 October 1965 through 30 June 1966.
• Mr. Gordon T. Whyburn as a member of the Center for Advanced Studies in the Sciences, for three years, effective 1 September 1966.
