GIFT OF REAL ESTATE BY MR. AND MRS. JAMES DEERING DANIELSON
The following resolution was adopted:
- WHEREAS Mr. and Mrs. James Deering Danielson, of Miami, Florida, have made a gift to the University of Virginia, of their remaining interest in the Lewis Mountain Tract, or an undivided four-ninths interest in Tract No. 1 of 48.24 acres about one-half mile west of the City of Charlottesville;
- WHEREAS this generous gift has numerous possibilities for effective use in the future educational programs of the University;
- NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that we express our collective and individual thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Danielson for this gift and assure them that it will be put to good use by us and our successors in the enhancement of the University's educational efforts; and
- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary be and he is hereby directed to send a copy of this resolution to Mr. and Mrs. Danielson.
