SPECIAL SALARY ACTIONS

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of the Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following persons shall receive the salary indicated:
• Mr. James M. Buchanan, McIntire Professor of Economics, at a session salary of [OMITTED] of which [OMITTED] is to be paid from local funds, effective 1 November 1965.
• Mr. Ronald P. Melnik, Lecturer in Business Administration, at a session salary of [OMITTED], effective 1 September 1965.
• Mr. Merrill D. Peterson, Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation Professor of History, at a session salary of [OMITTED], of which [OMITTED] is to be paid from local funds, effective 1 September 1965.
• Mr. John L. Snook, Associate Professor of Business Administration, at a session salary of [OMITTED], effective 1 September 1965.
• Mr. Wesley A. Volk, Professor of Microbiology, at a salary of [OMITTED], of which [OMITTED] is to be paid from local funds, for the period 20 October 1965 through 30 June 1966.
• Mr. William Watson, Professor of Sociology, at a session salary of [OMITTED], effective 1 September 1965.
• Mr. W. Dexter Whitehead, Jr., Professor of Physics, at a salary of [OMITTED], of which [OMITTED] is to be paid from local funds, effective 1 September 1965.
• Mr. Gordon T. Whyburn, Alumni Professor of Mathematics, at an annual salary of [OMITTED] to be paid from local funds, effective 1 September 1966.
