PROMOTIONS
The President proposed and the Board adopted the following resolution
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia
that the following promotions be and they are hereby made
Dr. E. Meredith Alrich, Associate Professor, to Professor of Surgery, effective 1 July 1963.
Mr. Roger C. Davis, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Architecture, effective
1 September 1963.
Dr. Cloid D. Green, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, effective
1 July 1963
Dr. Terring W. Heironimus, III, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, for
three years, effective 1 July 1963
Mr. Fulvio A. Iachetta, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering,
effective 1 September 1963
Dr. Calvin Kunin, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Preventive Medicine and
Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, effective 1 July 1963
Mr. John C. McCoid, II, Associate Professor, to Professor of Law, effective 1 September 1963.
Dr. John E. Owen, Jr., Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, effective
1 July 1963
Mr. William A. Rotch, Jr., Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Business Administration,
effective 1 September 1963, at a salary of $9,100
Dr. Thomas N. Rucker, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Radiology, for three years,
