RESIGNATIONS
The President announced the following resignations
Mr. Julio Suarez-Galban, Associate Professor of Spanish, effective 30 June 1963, because of
ill health
Mr. George R. Hall, Assistant Professor of Economics, effective 30 June 1963, to accept a
position with the Federal Reserve Bank
Mr. Alvin F. Moreland, Assistant Professor of Experimental Pathology, effective 30 June 1963,
to accept a position at the University of Florida
Dr. Quentin N. Myrvik, Associate Professor of Microbiology, effective 30 June 1963, to accept
the position of Professor and Chairman of the Department of Microbiology at the Bowman Gray School
of Medicine, Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Mr. John S. Plaskett, Associate Professor of Physics, effective 30 June 1963, to accept a
position at the University of Sussex, England.
Mr. David T. Steffen, Associate Professor of Law, effective 30 June 1963, to return to law
practice on the West Coast
Dr. Webb M. Thompson, Associate Professor of Pediatrics, effective 1 July 1963, to accept a
position in the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine
