CHANGES OF TITLE
The President proposed and the Board adopted the following resolution
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that
the following changes of title be and they are hereby made
Mr. Charles C. Abbott, from Professor of Banking and Finance, to Professor of Business
Administration, effective 1 September 1963
Mr. Ralph C. Bralley, from Instructor in Speech Pathology and Audiology, to Lecturer in
Speech Pathology and Audiology, for one year, effective 1 September 1963, at a salary of $7,300
Mr. Almand R. Coleman, from Professor of Accounting, to Professor of Business Administration,
effective 1 September 1963.
Mr. Charles M. Davison, Jr., from Lecturer in Law, to Visiting Professor of Law, for one year,
effective 1 September 1963, at a salary of $15,000
Mr. George L. Farre, from Lecturer in Philosophy, to Visiting Associate Professor of Philosophy,
part time, for one year, effective 1 September 1963
Mr. Howard L. Hamilton, from Visiting Professor of Biology, to Professor of Biology, part time,
for one year, effective 1 September 1963, at a salary of $6,300
Mr. Edward W. Lautenschlager, from Lecturer in Biology, to Assistant Professor of Biology, for
three years, effective 1 July 1963, at a salary of $7,300 plus 20 per cent for summer work and $300
for administrative duties.
