RE-ELECTIONS
The President proposed and the Board adopted the following resolution
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that
the following persons be and they are hereby re-elected to the faculty
Miss Zula M. Baber as Assistant Professor of Nursing, for three years, effective 1 September
1963
Mr. Robert T. Barbee as Assistant Professor of Art, for three years, effective 1 September 1963.
Dr. Miriam W. Carmichael as Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology, for one year, effective
1 July 1963
Dr. Fielding J. Crigler as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, for three years,
effective 1 July 1963.
Mr. Lee R. Johnston as Associate Professor of Business Administration, effective 1 September
1963, at a salary of $11,800.
Dr. Walter C. McLean as Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology, for three years,
effective 1 July 1963
Mr. Robert M. MacLeod as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry in Internal Medicine, for three
years, effective 1 September 1963.
Dr. Edward Majchrowicz as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, for one year, effective 1 July
1963.
Mr. Nathaniel F. G. Martin as Assistant Professor of Mathematics, for three years, effective
1 September 1963, at a salary of $8,500.
Mr. Charles F. Sargent as Assistant Professor of Business Administration, for three years,
effective 1 September 1963
Dr. Franz Schubert as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, for one year, effective 1 July
1963.
Mrs. Mallissa A. H. Showker as Assistant Professor of Nursing, for one year, effective
1 September 1963
Mr. Knox Turnbull as Lecturer in Law, for one year, effective 1 September 1963, at a salary
of $1,500.
Dr. Arthur W. Wyker, Jr. as Assistant Professor of Urology, for three years, effective
1 July 1963
Mr. Abraham W. Zelomek as Visiting Professor of Business Administration, for one year,
effective 1 September 1963.
