The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED that the following persons are elected to the faculty:
• Mr. John C. Bean as Professor of Electrical Engineering, effective January 16, 1997.
• Mr. Toby Berger as Visiting Professor of Electrical Engineering, for the period January 1, 1997 through June 30, 1997.
• Dr. Richard J. Bougher as Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology, for the period January 20, 1997 through October 31, 1997.
• Dr. Xiao-Liang Chen as Assistant Professor of Research in Pharmacology, for the period January 1, 1997 through July 11, 1997.
• Mr. Barry G. Condron as Assistant Professor of Neuroscience, for three years, effective February 1, 1997.
• Mr. Oscar A. Giardinelli as Visiting Professor of Spanish, for the period January 16, 1997 through May 31, 1997.
• Mr. Denis A. Leong as Associate Professor of Research in Internal Medicine, for one year, effective January 1, 1997.
• Ms. Sheridan V. McCabe as Assistant Professor of Nursing, General Nursing Faculty, for the period January 6, 1997 through May 21, 1997.
• Dr. Richard H. Moore as Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine, for three years, effective February 3, 1997.
• Ms. Sara T. Nalle as Visiting Professor of History, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1997.
• Ms. Marion Rust as Acting Assistant Professor of English, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1997.
• Mr. John R. Schultz as Professor of Research in Neurosurgery, for three years, effective January 1, 1997.
• Dr. David J. Spinosa as Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology, for three years, effective January 1, 1997.
