REPORT BY THE PRESIDENT ON ROTC

The President made a report to the Board on the credit status of ROTC courses. He advised the Board that the recent faculty action calls for no change in credit status for ROTC courses until 1971, then the College of Arts and Sciences proposes to require 120 semester hours of work for a degree exclusive of ROTC credit. The President assured the Board that he is strongly in favor of retaining the ROTC units at this University.
