PROMOTIONS

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following promotions be and they are hereby made:
• Mr. Richard H. Pierce, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Accounting, effective 1 September 1966, at a session salary of $[OMITTED] plus $[OMITTED] for summer work, or a total salary of $11,800.
• Mrs. Evelyn L. Pugh, Lecturer, to Acting Assistant Professor of History, for one year, effective 1 September 1966, at a session salary of $[OMITTED].
• Mr. H. Mebane Turner, Assistant Professor of Biblical Literature, to Associate Professor of Religion, effective 1 September 1966, at a session salary of $[OMITTED] plus 20 percent for summer work and $[OMITTED] for administrative duties, or a total salary of $[OMITTED].
