The compilers gratefully acknowledge the kindness of members of the Society in suggesting items for inclusion. The compiler of Part II is particularly indebted to Mr. J. S. G. Simmons and the contributors to Bibliography in Britain, from which he has added entries, especially for dissertations and articles in magazines of local history, distinguished by references to that source.
