MR. KOWNACKI'S ELECTION TO FACULTY CONFIRMED
President Darden, citing a letter of May 29th from Dean Quarles, reported that
he had been unable to get further information on Mr. Stanislaw Kownacki beyond what
was known at the time of the M. I. T. clearance. He reminded that Board that the
election of Mr. Kownacki to the faculty on April 27th had been a provisional one,
and stated that he intended now to confirm the election unless he should hear any
objection from the Visitors. No objections were voiced.
