LEAVES OF ABSENCE
The following resolution was adopted by the Board:
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University
of Virginia that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave
of absence without pay
Professor A. J. G. Priest, of the Law School, for the second semester of the
session of 1957-58, to work on a book on public utility law.
Dr. G. T. Whyburn, Professor of Mathematics and Chairman of the Department of
Mathematics, for the session of 1957-58, to do research for the Office of
Scientific Research, Air Research and Development Command
