RESOLVED that the actions relating to chairholders are hereby approved as shown below:
(a) Election of Chairholder(s)
Mr. Barry E. Adler as Sullivan & Cromwell Professor of Law, for three years, effective July 1, 1995. Mr. Adler will continue as Professor of Law, without term.
Mr. John D. Arras as H. William Porterfield, M.D., and Linda Obenauf Porterfield Professor of Biomedical Ethics, effective September 1, 1995.
Ms. Barbara D. Bateman as Frank Talbott, Jr. Visiting Professor of Education, for the period January 16, 1996 through May 31, 1996.
Mr. Saul Levmore as Albert Clark Tate, Jr., Professor of Law, for three years, effective July 1, 1995. Mr. Levmore will continue as Brokaw Professor of Corporate Law, without term.
Dr. Thomas A. Massaro as Harrison Foundation Professor of Medicine and Law (without term), effective July 1, 1995. Dr. Massaro will continue as Professor of Pediatrics, without term.
Mr. William F. Pinar as Frank Talbott, Jr. Visiting Professor, for the period September 1, 1995 through January 15, 1996.

Dr. Robert E. Reynolds as William Hobson Professor of Information Sciences and Professor of Health Evaluation Sciences, effective May 1, 1995. Dr. Reynolds will continue as Professor of Internal Medicine, without term.
Mr. George A. Rutherglen as F. Palmer Weber Research Professor of Civil Liberties and Human Rights, for three years, effective July 1, 1995. Mr. Rutherglen will continue as O.M. Vicars Professor of Law, without term.
Mr. William J. Stuntz as Horace W. Goldsmith Research Professor of Law, for three years, effective July 1, 1995. Mr. Stuntz will continue as Professor of Law, without term.
Mr. William Laurens Walker as Hunton & Williams Professor of Law, for three years, effective July 1, 1995. Mr. Walker will continue as T. Munford Boyd Professor of Law, without term.
Mr. Steven D. Walt as Class of 1963 Research Professor of Law, for three years, effective July 1, 1995. Mr. Walt will continue as Professor of Law, without term.
Mr. George K. Yin as Harrison Foundation Research Professor of Law, for three years, effective July 1, 1995. Mr. Yin will continue as Professor of Law, without term.
(b) Resignation of Chairholder

The following resignation was announced:

Ms. Marie-Helene Huet, William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of French, effective May 31, 1995, to accept another position.
(c) Appointments of Chairholders

The following appointments were announced:

Mr. Alex M. Johnson, Jr. as Vice Provost for Faculty Recruitment and Retention, for five years, effective July 1, 1995.
Mr. Stephen E. Schnatterly as Vice Provost for Graduate Studies, for five years, effective July 1, 1995.
