The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following persons be and they are hereby re-elected to the faculty:
• Mrs. Francoise M. L. Attinger as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, for one year, effective July 1, 1973.
• Mr. Richard H. Austin as Assistant Professor, Alderman Library, for the period July 1, 1973, through December 31, 1973.
• Mrs. Lillie O. Chang as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, for one year, effective July 1, 1973.
• Mr. Coleman D. Clarke, Jr., as Acting Assistant Professor of Religious Studies, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1973.
• Dr. Luke Combs as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, part-time, for one year, effective July 1, 1973.
• Mr. Robert Dawidoff as Acting Assistant Professor of History, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1973.
• Mr. Joseph E. Goldberg as Acting Assistant Professor of Government and Foreign Affairs, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1973.
• Mr. George C. Grant as Assistant Professor of Marine Science, for three academic years, effective January 15, 1973.
