REPORT ON THE ACTION OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WITH RESPECT
TO ARCHITECTS TO FURNISH SUPERVISION AND WORKING DRAWINGS
FOR THE UNDERGRADUATE LIBRARY PROJECT AND FOR THE PRIMARY
CARE CENTER

The Rector reported that all members of the Executive Committee were polled by telephone on July 19, 1973. The following resolutions were adopted:

  • (1) RESOLVED by The Executive Committee of the Board of Visitors of the University of Virginia that for the undergraduate library project, the firm of Rawlings, Wilson and Fraher, Architects, Richmond, be approved to furnish supervision and to prepare working drawings in association with the Ulrich Franzen Associates at such time as the University may wish to proceed with these drawings.
  • (2) RESOLVED by The Executive Committee of the Board of Visitors of the University of Virginia that the firm of Rawlings, Wilson, and Fraher, previously named in association with Stubbins and Allan for the preparation of working drawings for the Outpatient Department and Clinical Services Building, be withdrawn from the project.
  • (3) RESOLVED by The Executive Committee of the Board of Visitors of the University of Virginia that the firm of Stainback and Scribner be approved for working drawings and supervision of the Primary Care Center, associated with The Architects Collaborative.
