RESOLUTION OF THANKS TO MR. AND MRS. HENDERSON HEYWARD

The following resolution was adopted:

• WHEREAS Mr. and Mrs. Henderson Heyward of Fox Haven Farm in Albemarle County have given a parcel of land at the intersection of Deerpath and Canterbury Roads to the University of Virginia;
• WHEREAS this is a most important gift to the University as it will make possible a direct road connection linking the University and the Birdwood property;
• NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that we express to Mr. and Mrs. Henderson Heyward our sincere thanks for their generosity and direct the Secretary to transmit a copy of this resolution to them as a mark of our deep appreciation.
