LEAVES OF ABSENCE
The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave of absence:
- Mr. Peter R. Coffin, Associate Professor of Philosophy, for one year, effective 1 September 1966, without pay, to accept a one-year appointment as Visiting Lecturer in Philosophy at Denison University.
- Miss Rosemary Herman, Assistant Professor of Modern Foreign Languages, for one year, effective 1 September 1966, without pay, to accept a National Defense Education Act Fellowship in Portuguese awarded to her at the University of Wisconsin to continue her work toward the doctorate.
