October 4th.. 1805 Friday.
This morning is a little cool wind from the East. I displeased
an Indian by refuseing to let him have a pice of
Tobacco, three Indians from the S. fork visit us Fraser and
Gutrich return from the village with fish, roots &c. which they
purchased
