Nov. 16-22
At Church in the morning. Mr. Meade reads a letter from the Bishop. Find Henry at home on our return. He
tells us of the sale at Music Hall. [The estate sale of Uncle James H. Terrel.] I'm invited to Bella Rives wedding
next Tuesday night-don't think I shall go. Too much trouble to get ready and then I don't believe weddings pay.
Read Woods on Infant Baptism. Sue and I take the Orange fever. A letter from Tom Davis. He is now teaching
school in Boonville, Missouri. Has another love affair in hand. Speaks of the fair one as a "perfect angel."
