Honor Is Fragile
The Lawn and the Rotunda will exist forever here at the
University. These structures are composed of concrete and brick
which are most difficult to destroy. A sense of honor and
community is something much more fragile but more important
to our University.
If the Honor System is going to remain as much a part of the
University as the Lawn and Rotunda, it must be asserted not only
in the process of a trial, but in the privileges and security
extended to each member of the student community.
