Cedendum necessitati.

Franciscas sweares hee'l be no more forsworne,
No more will Swagger, Surfet, or be drunck:
No more his locks will weare at length but shorne,
No more converse or sollace with his Punck.
No more chast Widdowes, Maides, or Wiues abuse,
No more leawd Songs, or bawdy termes repeat:
No more Tobacco midst of Dinners vse;
No more detract, lye, flatter, cogge, or cheat.
For true it is, Time now hath better taught him,
Since late that scuruy Woodstreet-Counter caught him.
