Nimis docuit Consuetudo.
Olde Fucòs Board is oft replenished,But nought thereof must be diminished:
Vnles some worthles vpper dish or twaine,
The rest for seruice still againe remaine.
His man that vs'de to bring them in for show,
Leauing a dish vpon the bench below:
Was by his Maister (much offended) blam'de,
Which he as briefe with answer bluntly fram'de;
'Tath bene zo often broft avorc this day,
As now chad thoft it zelfe had knowne the way.
