Sperare liceat Infidelibus.
That Luscus hath no Lattin t'is no Lye,Nor that hee writeth false Ortographye,
Yet passeth for a Checquer Clearke we see,
And hopes this Tearme to purchase many a Fee.
Nay more he hopes to proue an Officer,
If case (quoth hee) our Uicar doth not erre:
Who well remembers in his Prouerbs saith,
The weake in Knowledge, may be strong in Faith.
