Family Soul Bowl

The Cornelius Brothers and
Sister Rose will be making an
exclusive appearance tonight in
Memorial Gym for the Second
Annual Soul Bowl, presented
by the University Union. The
brother-sister group released
their first single last year,
"Treat Her Like a Lady", an
immediate million seller hit.

Eddie Cornelius, 29, is the
lead singer and composer,
having written most of the
group's songs.

Carter, 24, also writes
occasionally and is a talented
singer. The force of the group
comes from the power-packed
vocals of Rose, 25, and her big
sister Billie Jo, 26.

Appearing with the
Cornelius Brothers will be the
popular soul band, The
Divots. Tickets are $2.00 in
advance at Newcomb Hall and
$2.50 at the door. The dance
will be from 8:30 to 12:30
p.m. and is restricted to
University students and dates.
