ESTABLISHMENT OF POLICY ON COMPENSATION FOR SUMMER EMPLOYMENT

  • The following resolution was adopted:
    RESOLVED that the following policy on compensation for summer employment of academic year faculty members be and it is hereby established effective July 1, 1988:
  • Faculty members employed on an academic year basis are salaried for the period September 1 through May 31, a period of 39 weeks. During the summer period, June 1 through August 31 such faculty may enter into additional employment agreements with the institution for instruction and research purposes. The maximum compensation for full-time employment during the summer period shall not exceed 13/39ths or 33% of the faculty member's academic year salary.
