RESOLUTION OPPOSING LEGISLATION WHICH WOULD MAKE IT MANDATORY FOR
THE GOVERNOR TO APPOINT A CURRENTLY ENROLLED STUDENT TO THE BOARD

The following resolution was adopted:

  • WHEREAS, the Board of Visitors has noted the introduction of legislation relating to student membership on the Board;
  • BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the Board is opposed to any legislation which would require the Governor to appoint a student to the Board of Visitors.
