RESIGNATIONS

• The following resignations were announced:
• Ms. Mary E. Bell, Assistant Professor, Alderman Library, effective January 29, 1980, to accept a position with the Pennsylvania State University.
• Mr. Elroy J. Friesen, Assistant Professor of Radiology, effective December 31, 1979, to accept a position in Washington.
• Mr. Frank W. Ingle, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, effective September 17, 1979, for personal reasons.
• Ms. Marilyn B. Kann, Instructor, Alderman Library, effective January 8, 1980, to accept a position at Cornell University.
• Mr. Raja Khalifah, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, effective November 30, 1979, to accept a position at another institution.
• Mr. Verdel A. Kolve, Chairman, Department of English, effective September 1, 1980, to return to teaching and writing. (Chairmanship only).
• Mrs. Sheila R. Lee, Assistant Professor of Drama, effective January 15, 1980, to pursue other opportunities.
• Dr. Jan C. Louw, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Roanoke Program, effective August 31, 1979, to enter private practice.
• Mr. James L. Paterson, Assistant Professor of Physics, effective January 15, 1980, to accept another position.
• Mr. Monrad G. Paulsen, John B. Minor Professor of Law, effective May 31, 1979, to remain at Yeshiva Law School.
• Mr. Ralph D. Pinto, Associate Legal Adviser, effective October 1, 1979, to assume the position as Executive Director of the University of Virginia Alumni Patents Foundation.

• Dr. David E. Rosenman, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Psychiatrist, Department of Student Health, effective November 15, 1979, to accept a position at California State University.
• Mr. Andrew P. Sage, Associate Dean, School of Engineering and Applied Science, effective August 31, 1980, to return to full-time teaching and research plus administration as Chairman of Engineering Science and Systems. Mr. Sage will continue as Lawrence R. Quarles Professor.
• Mr. David J. Van Dyk, Assistant Professor of Cataloging, Alderman Library, effective December 6, 1979, to accept a position at Ohio State University.
• Mr. Madan M. Varma, Research Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, effective August 31, 1979, to accept another position.
• Mrs. Libby R. Wyatt, Assistant Dean of Admissions, effective October 31, 1979, for personal reasons.
