• Mr. George E. Culbertson as Associate Professor of Mathematics, for three years, effective July 1, 1973.
• Mr. Van W. Daniel, III, as Assistant Professor of Chemistry, for three academic years, effective September 1, 1973.
• Mr. Charles F. Denny as Assistant Professor of Biology, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1973.
