RESIGNATIONS AND RETIREMENTS

The following resignations and retirements were announced:

• Miss Guenndolyn A. Beeler, Professor of Home Economics and Chairman of the Department of Home Economics, retiring after 19 years of service at Mary Washington College, effective 30 June 1970.
• Mr. Burton Cooper, Assistant Professor of Religion, resigning, effective 30 June 1970, to accept a teaching position at another institution.
• Mrs. Eileen K. Dodd, Professor of Psychology, retiring after 44 years of service at Mary Washington College, effective 30 June 1970.
• Miss Dana G. Finnegan, Associate Professor of English, resigning to co-author a book and to further her professional career, effective 30 June 1970.
• Mrs. Emily A. Holloway, Assistant Professor and Director of Student Affairs, resigning for personal reasons, effective 31 August 1970, after approximately 22 years of service at Mary Washington College.
• Mr. Reginald W. Whidden, Professor of English and Dean of the College, retiring after 27 years of service at Mary Washington College, effective 30 September 1970.
• Mr. Edgar E. Woodward, Professor and Comptroller of the College, retiring after 33 years of service at Mary Washington College, effective 30 September 1970.
