POSTPONEMENT OF OUT-OF-STATE TUITION INCREASE FOR THE LAW SCHOOL

The Board of Visitors adopted a resolution in February of 1968 increasing the tuition charge for out-of-State students in the School of Law by the amount of $100.00 effective 1 September 1970; the estimated starting date for construction of new Law School buildings.

Since the construction plans are delayed, the following resolution was adopted:

  • RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the tuition increase of $100 for out-of-State students in the School of Law approved to become effective on 1 September 1970, be and it is hereby postponed until such time as building costs are established for the proposed Law School buildings.
