Emblema. 68. Charitas non quærit quæ sua sunt.
The Translation.
The priest here seeth the good ointment,Which by his cheekes as streame downe sent
Doth touch the hemme of his garment:
The dew, which Hermon hill doth drinke,
Into the valleyes low doth sinke.
So blessed peace doth giue a smell,
As ointment good that sauours well,
Fruitfull as dew that falth from hill.
