To You, while in your native Charms you shin'd,
I first the Title of my Heart resign'd;
But you, more strongly to confirm your Pow'r,
Sought Help from Art in an illfated Hour.
You the fair Cheek with Roses forc'd to vy,
And stain'd the Eyebrow with a sabler Dy.
That Moment, Phillis, thy Deceit was known,
You loss'd, by Art, what Nature made your own.
