Mary Walker [Meriwether Randolph] has another son. Frank [Mary Walker's son] lacks one day of being a year old. Wrote to Brother Peter ....After dinner, Friday, we are much surprised to see Miss Vallant come walking up. She had a chance to come in a carriage to the gate and from there she walked up. Daddy goes to Richmond to
