THE MASTER OF THE NOVICES
(MAGISTER PULSANTIUM)

He is not mentioned in Wala's brief, but his office is implied
in chapter 58 of the Rule of St. Benedict,[56] and a special
room was assigned to him in the Novitiate of the Plan of
St. Gall.[57]
