• Mr. Ronald A. Bouchard as Assistant Vice President for Personnel Administration, for three years, effective December 1, 1981.
• Mr. Frederick Hartt as Member of the Center for Advanced Studies, for one year, effective July 1, 1982.
• Ms. Hortense B. Hinton as Associate Dean of Afro-American Affairs, for one year, effective August 1, 1982.
• Mr. Cecil Y. Lang as Member of the Center for Advanced Studies, for the period June 1, 1982, through May 31, 1983.
