The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following persons be and they are hereby elected to the faculty:
• Mr. Gary K. Ackers as Visiting Professor of Biochemistry, for the period January 1, 1982 through June 30, 1982.
• Mr. Ronald A. Bouchard as Lecturer, General Faculty, for three years, effective December 1, 1981.
• Mr. Shirley D. Brinsfield as Visiting Lecturer in Business Administration, for one semester, effective January 16, 1982.
• Mr. Scott S. Cowen as Rust Visiting Professor of Business Administration, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1982.
• Mr. Steven R. Donaldson as Research Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, for three years, effective January 1, 1982.
• Ms. Joan R. Echtenkamp as Instructor, General Medical Faculty, The Claude Moore Health Sciences Library, for the period January 1, 1982 through December 30, 1982.
