EPITAPH

On the Daughter of Mr. Richard Turpin.

Stript from her Silks and Lawnes here lies
The joy and wonder of all Eyes.
Should I reveale, in what a sweet
And just consent, her formes did meet
Thou wouldst believe (the Story heard)
Nature her self lay here interr'd.
And all succeeding white and red
Will seeme complexion of the Dead,
And ever insuccessful prove,
Whilst Lovers know not where to Love.
