The Vice President for Health Sciences and the Vice President for Business and Finance are authorized to amend the compensation for individual Health Care Professional classes subject to approval by the Finance Committee of the Board of Visitors, with increases to the personnel budget of the hospital of no more than $200,000.

The following is a proposal outlining the actions necessary to alleviate major staffing shortages in the Radiation Therapy and Diagnostic Divisions of the Department of Radiology.

Conventional recruiting and retention practices have not alleviated the problem, thus some non-conventional interventions must be considered or these divisions will be unable to render appropriate and timely patient care.

ANNUALIZED COST: $71,000. See attached for more details.
