- The following appointments were announced:
- Ms. Nancy C. Bertram as Assistant to the Provost, for the period December 1, 1987 through June 30, 1990.
- Ms. Elizabeth G. Boswell as Assistant Dean of Admissions, for the period October 1, 1987 through June 30, 1988.
- Dr. Don E. Detmer as Vice President for Health Affairs, for five years, effective December 15, 1987.
- Ms. Anne M. DuBois as Director of Special Projects, for the period October 12, 1987 through June 30, 1990.
- Mr. George C. Jones as Acting Director of Foundation Relations, for the period October 19, 1987 through January 18, 1988.
- Mr. Lincoln V. Lewis as Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Officer and Special Assistant to the President, for the period January 1, 1988 through June 30, 1990.
- Mr. William A. Little as Acting Chairman, Department of German, for one semester, effective January 16, 1988.
