REPORT OF THE HOSPITAL ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the Hospital Accounts Committee be and it is hereby authorized to write off as bad debts and free service accounts listed on University of Virginia Hospital schedule numbers 437 through 442 for the months of February, 1982 and April, 1982 totaling $5,658,410.07, and Blue Ridge Hospital Division schedule numbers 485 through 490 for the months of February, 1982, March 1982, and April 1982, totaling $543,009.18 consisting of the following:
          

University of Virginia Hospital:
Bad Debts		$ 774,588.67
Free Service		$4,883,821.40

	Total	$5,658,410.07
Blue Ridge Hospital:
Bad Debts		- 0 -
Free Service		$543,009.18
		-------------
	Total	$543,009.18

• RESOLVED FURTHER, that the above action shall not be a compromise, settlement or discharge of the debts represented by such accounts.
