PROMOTIONS

The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following faculty members be and they are hereby promoted:
• Mr. Michael Hawkins from Instructor in Chemistry to Assistant Professor of Chemistry, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1982.
• Mr. Joseph C. Miller, Jr. from Associate Professor of History to Professor of History, effective September 1, 1982.
• Mrs. Cynthia F. Raines from Assistant Professor of Nursing, General Nursing Faculty to Assistant Professor of Nursing, effective September 1, 1982.
• Mr. George A. Rutherglen from Associate Professor of Law to Professor of Law, effective September 1, 1982.
