AMENDMENT TO THE UNIVERSITY'S TIAA-CREF RETIREMENT PLAN
- The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that effective January 1, 1977, members of the faculty who participate in the University's TIAA-CREF Retirement Program may after ten years of covered service and after attaining age 60, or after five years of covered service and after attaining age 65, elect to reduce their duties to not less than one-half time and continue to participate in the TIAA-CREF Retirement Program. During such participation, the University will continue contributions to TIAA-CREF at the same dollar amount after this reduction in service as was paid the last year of full time salary.
