REPORT BY THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATIONS
BETWEEN THE BOARD AND THE STUDENT BODY

Mr. George Palmer recommended the following resolution to finalize the report of his Committee, this resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following be and they are hereby approved:
1. The entire membership of the Athletic Advisory Committee (the 5-4-4 Committee) will be invited to a special meeting of the Student Affairs and Athletics Committee in January 1977 and on an annual basis thereafter.

2. The Vice-President for Student Affairs and the President will review agenda items prior to each Board meeting and will identify the items which have a direct effect on students or upon the issues for which Student Council has specific responsibilities. These items will be discussed by the Vice-President with the Student Council representatives, and they will be included on the agenda of the Student Affairs and Athletics Committee which will be distributed in advance.
