APPOINTMENTS

The following appointments were announced:

• Mr. Philip J. Allen as Chairman of the Department of Sociology, for three years, effective 1 July 1968.
• Miss Rachel Benton as Chairman of the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, for one year, effective 1 July 1968.
• Mr. Hobart C. Carter as Chairman of the Department of Mathematics, for three years, effective 1 July 1968.
• Mr. E. Boyd Graves as Chairman of the Department of Philosophy, for one year, effective 1 July 1968.
• Miss Pauline G. King as Chairman of the Department of Art, for three years, effective 1 July 1968.
• Mr. George E. Luntz as Chairman of the Department of Music, for three years, effective 1 July 1968.
• Mr. A. Ray Merchent as Director of Admissions with the rank of Assistant Dean, effective 1 July 1968.
• Mr. William C. Pinschmidt, Jr., as Chairman of the Department of Biology, for three years, effective 1 July 1968.
